Odyssey Of Love

ODYSSEY OF LOVE - Written by Carroll Bryant

Castles in the sand
Legends of my memories
Time without hands
Journeys without destinies
Kings of the land
Living in their royalty
Looking at you, I know
I know
I know
I know
That the ace of spades will never care
If the wind blows gently through your hair
My love for you is standing there
Look around
It's everywhere

Colors of my heart
Playing like a symphony
Reaching in the dark
Talking to my fantasies
The green grass grows
High above my desperate dreams
Thinking of you, I know
I know
I know
I know
That fairy tales can never fly
If my love for you doesn't paint the sky
My love for you will never die
Look around
Say goodbye

Castles in the sand
Legends of my memories
Time without hands
Journeys without destinies
Please understand
It's not what it seems to be
Looking at you, I know
I know
I know
I know
That love becomes from the course of time
And never in the blink of an eye
The ace of spades will wonder why
You and I
You and I

The Banshee

THE BANSHEE - Written by Carroll Bryant

Leave her alone
And she’ll leave you alone
For no good could ever come
From loving the banshee

Listen to her screams
Wailing endlessly
Silently she will be
Nothing but a banshee

She drifts in the night under the moon
This is her mood
Pain is her food

She searches the night for the taste of the nectar
This is her time
Lost soul and mind

Leave her alone
And she’ll leave you alone
For no good could ever come
From loving the banshee

Listen to her screams
Wailing endlessly
Silently she will be
Nothing but a banshee

She watches it all from the edge of a shadow
Those are her eyes
A helpless demise

She waits for nothing, nothing at all
That is her life
There’s no compromise

Leave her alone
And she’ll leave you alone
For no good could ever come
From loving the banshee

Listen to her screams
Wailing endlessly
Silently she will be
Nothing but a banshee

And forever to be nothing to see
Forever to be nothing but a banshee

The Mountain

THE MOUNTAIN - Written by Carroll Bryant

I was hanging on the side of a dream
When a man appeared next to me
With words of comfort and a look in his eyes
And I knew not to fear
And I knew I wasn't lonely
And my body soon came alive with energy
And he smiled
And he said
You can climb the mountain if you try
This world is like a mountain and you can climb it
You don't want to die like you're wishing deep inside
Your soul is crying
You don't really want to die

Life is like a dream in that inside we are flurried
And our eyes are blind
The meaning of it all may not be obvious
But it's there so, keep hope alive
Faith for the sad ones
Still his words I could not break away from

You can climb the mountain if you try
This world is like a mountain and you can climb it
You don't want to die like you're wishing deep inside
Your soul is crying
You don't really want to die

This man was a stranger to me and so was I
I knew his motive and prayers and I knew why
Why he had the power and gave me some conviction
And knew the truth within my heart and every mountain
Any mountain can be climbed

I was hanging on the side of a dream
When the man came down to talk to me
He gave me hope
He gave me faith
He gave me another reason to try

You can climb the mountain if you try
This world is like a mountain and you can climb it
You don't want to die like you're wishing deep inside
Your soul is crying
You don't really want to die

I will climb the mountain
I will climb the mountain
Even if I don't make it I would have tried
