The End Of Time

THE END OF TIME - Written by Carroll Bryant

Nuclear bombs are all I see
What will they think of next?

Somebody wants to make history
A territorial president?

Who’s going to push the button first?
When will they give it a try?

A beast with a rabid blood of thirst
Is waiting to see the whole world die

Who’s going to want to try it out?
Who’s going to show the world what life’s about?

And now people think I’m strange
Because I can see the coming of the acid rain
I’m no Nostradamus, but I’m not blind
I can see the end
The end of time

Talk of death is all I hear
What will they say tomorrow?

Maybe this is why people turn to beer
Trying to drown the sorrow

We’re just living through the changes
Forgetting what is to come

Quickly turning through the pages
No one’s laughing when the battle is done

Who’s going to want to try it out?
Who’s going to show the world what life’s about?

And now people think I have changed
Because I can see the coming of the acid rain
I’m no Nostradamus, but I’m not blind
I can see the end
The end of time

And now people think I’m strange
Because I can see the coming of the acid rain
I’m no Nostradamus, but I’m not blind
I can see the end
The end of time
