White Paint

WHITE PAINT - Written by Carroll Bryant

You probably hate me and that's okay
I put you through hell and back but now I say that
I am so sorry for acting that way and
I will take care of it with some white paint

No one else will love me because no one else likes me
And I know it to be true
I don't really care because I don't think much about it
But I do think about you
Would you like to try again because I think that we can make it
Or would you rather I just go away and leave you with your thoughts
Or something

You probably hate me and that's okay
I put you through hell and back but now I say that
I am so sorry for acting that way and
I will take care of it with some white paint

Here in this world of mine that I have discovered
Lives many mistakes and Divine pleasures
I'd really like to share it with you
But if you think it would be better
Would you rather I just go away
And leave you with your friends who hate me
Or would you like to try again for the sake of tomorrow
And any happiness that we might find

You probably hate me and that's okay
I put you through hell and back but now I say that
I am so sorry for acting that way and
I will take care of it with some white paint

You probably hate me

Would you like to try again because I think that we can make it this time
Or would you rather I just go away and leave you with your thoughts
Or something

You probably hate me and that's okay
I put you through hell and back but now I say that
I am so sorry for acting that way and
I will take care of it with some white paint

I wish that I could see you again
I wish that I could be with you
I wish that I could spend the rest of my life wishing that I could spend
The rest of my life with you
I wish that I could have you back, but it's too late
I wish that I could laugh with you again, but it's too late
I wish that you would wish for me, but it's too late
It's just too late

Would you like to try again because .... I think that we could make it this time

Living In The Smell

LIVING IN THE SMELL - Written by Carroll Bryant

Just another spot on my window
Just another crack in the pane
Why can't it be so easy just to say so?
Everybody's looking for somebody to blame

Living in the smell
This life is a living hell
Living in the smell
And you can't run away
Living in the smell
This life sucks and I can tell
Living in the smell
That you like it that way

You take too long to respond to something
You think I'm as weak as the past
Why does it have to always be all or nothing?
Everybody's looking for someone to kick some ass

Living in the smell
This life is a living hell
Living in the smell
And you can't run away
Living in the smell
This life sucks and I can tell
Living in the smell
That you like it that way

The road we travel is much too long
We got plenty of time to think it through
You can play the music to your favorite song
But what are you gonna do?
When the entertainment is through?
What are you gonna do?
Where are you?

Just another spot on my window
Just another crack in the pane
Why can't it be so easy just to say so?
Everybody's looking for somebody to blame

Living in the smell
This life is a living hell
Living in the smell
And you can't run away
Living in the smell
This life sucks and I can tell
Living in the smell
That you like it that way

Living in the smell
This life is a living hell
Living in the smell
And you can't run away
Living in the smell
This life sucks and I can tell
Living in the smell
That you like it that way

Jupiter

JUPITER - Written by Carroll Bryant

There's a place in a far away land where mushrooms grow as tall as trees
That's a place where you'll know who I am and my presence alone
Will knock you to your knees
And you will beg for my words to reach you
And you will beg for my knowledge to teach you
And you will beg my sun to bake you
And then I will beg you to leave me alone

You take a ride to the edge of the world where earth and space refuse to meet
But that ain't nothing like sex with a girl who mates with all
Who is in heat
And you will beg for my love to touch you
And you will beg for my heart to love you
And you will beg for my soul to take you
And then I will beg you to take me home

And so with this you wonder where it's gonna lead
Well, I can't say because I don't pray
I only pay for something that I don't want, and I don't need
So, buckle up and come with me

And you will beg for my words to reach you
And you will beg for my knowledge to teach you
And you will beg my sun to bake you
And then I will beg you to leave me alone

There's a place in a far away land where nothing grows in the seas
That's a  place where you'll all understand, and it's surrounded daily
With eternal peace
And you will beg for my speed to show you
And you will beg for my eyes to know you
And you will beg for my tongue to blow you
And then I will beg you to just go home

Just go home and leave me alone
I don't like talking to you anymore
Just go home and leave me alone
I don't like talking to you
I think I am through with you
I don't like talking to you anymore

I Hope You Had Fun

I HOPE YOU HAD FUN - Written by Carroll Bryant

I believed you when you said that you loved me
I trusted you when you said I was the only one
Now I know I should have read between the lines
You were never really mine at all

I hope you had fun playing your games
I hope you had fun with me, Lorraine
I hope you had fun
I hope you had fun

The promises that we made when we were together
Should have been kept to keep us together
You had a change of heart or was it already planned
You broke us apart for nothing and I don't understand

(That's bullshit)

I hope you had fun playing your games
I hope you had fun with me, Lorraine
I hope you had fun
I hope you had fun

So I guess it's true between me and you
You already had it all figured out
But honey, you're the one who's gonna lose
My smile is proof
And girl, you know, there is no doubt
I got just as many girls on the side as you do boys
I got just as many dirty thoughts and fancy toys
Let's drink a toast to us
To the jerks we know we both can be

I believed you when you said that you loved me
I trusted you when you said I was the only one
Now I know I should have read between the lines
You were never really mine at all

I hope you had fun playing your games
I hope you had fun with me, Lorraine
I hope you had fun
I hope you had fun

I hope you had fun playing your games
I hope you had fun with me, Lorraine
I hope you had fun
I hope you had fun

Because now we are done

Physical Attraction

PHYSICAL ATTRACTION - Written by Carroll Bryant

You girl
You look so lonely
You girl
Think you're the only one with style
Why don't you wear a smile for me?
I will set you free
Wear a smile for me
I will set you free

You girl
You look so broken hearted
You girl
Haven't even started to live
Why don't you give me chance for your love?
I will set you free
Just give me a chance for your love
I will set you free

I got a physical attraction for you
So let's play these games once again
We want satisfaction
It's true
But I cannot pretend that I'm not falling in love
And it started with this physical attraction

You girl
You look desolated
You girl
Can't even relate to the pain
Why don't you give me one good try
I will set you free
Just give me one good try
I will set you free

You girl
Sitting there staring
You girl
Are used to someone always caring for you
Why don't you wear a smile for me
I will set you free
Wear a smile for me
I will set you free

I got a physical attraction for you
So let's play these games once again
We want satisfaction
It's true
But I cannot pretend that I'm not falling in love
And it started with this physical attraction

The city streets
The empty nights
So soon we meet
So soon we fight
It's never gonna end
This hunger
It's a sink or swim
And we're going under
It's always gonna start
This hunger
Always to break our hearts

I got a physical attraction for you
So let's play these games once again
We want satisfaction
It's true
But I cannot pretend that I'm not falling in love
And it started with this physical attraction

One Touch From You

ONE TOUCH FROM YOU - Written by Carroll Bryant

Just one look in your eyes brought feelings from out of my heart
Feelings I never before knew
And as strange as they were I knew deep inside of my heart
Those feelings would evolve into something I would come to depend on from you

Another attraction and total satisfaction
Just sitting here with nothing to do
I reach out again just to try and touch your skin
Heart to heart I become one with you

No more love and its lies
No more alibis
No more playing the fool
All it took was one touch from you
No more crying eyes
Breaking down inside
Not another late night rendezvous
And all it took was just one touch from you

From morning to night I feel the pressure escaping from out of my mind
So I take your hand and lead you to heaven
And as strange as it sounds and time after time
My whole life lifts as light as a feather

Another surrender and love warm and tender
Just sitting here and thinking of you
I cry out again this message I send
Soul to soul a heart that is true

No more love and its lies
No more alibis
No more playing the fool
All it took was one touch from you
No more crying eyes
Breaking down inside
Not another late night rendezvous
And all it took was just one touch from you

Another attraction and total satisfaction
Just sitting here with nothing to do
I reach out again just to try and touch your skin
Heart to heart I become one with you

No more love and its lies
No more alibis
No more playing the fool
All it took was one touch from you
No more crying eyes
Breaking down inside
Not another late night rendezvous
And all it took was just one touch from you

Midnight

MIDNIGHT - Written by Carroll Bryant

You think about her when you are away
She's on your mind every single day
You don't know which way you should go

You start a fight within yourself
It's a hell of a note
It's a hell of a hell
You don't know which way you should go

Everything is fading from sight
You're giving up on the fight
Don't you think it would be wise to wait until midnight?

Not everything is so black and white
Take it in and suck it up real tight
Don't you think it would be wise to wait until midnight?

Give it a chance
Give it some time
Give it a while and then maybe you'll find
That you know which way you should go

Think of yourself and forget about pride
Don't try keeping it all locked up inside
And soon you will come to know which way you should go

Everything is fading from sight
You're giving up on the fight
Don't you think it would be wise to wait until midnight?

Not everything is so black and white
Take it in and suck it up despite
Don't you think it would be wise to wait until midnight?

Don't give up on your plans
You can be your own man
If you try
You're letting go of your life
You got it in the palm of your hands
You better play your cards right
You can be your own man
If you try
Only if you try

Everything is fading from sight
You're giving up on the fight
Don't you think it would be wise to wait until midnight?

Not everything is so black and white
Take it in and suck it up real tight
Don't you think it would be wise to wait until midnight?

Wait until midnight
Wait until midnight
You can decide at midnight

Airport (Flight 481)

AIRPORT (FLIGHT 481) - Written by Carroll Bryant

Can you feel it?
It feels so strange
Can you see it?
Life is about to change

The moment is queer
I don't understand
How did I get here?
Where are all of my friends?

Everything is changing
Accept it
Be a man

Everything is in front of you
Think of all the great things that could happen

Don't bring yourself down
You'll be okay
Take a last look around

The planes

Waiting at the airport
Gonna ride the wind
Waiting at the airport
Is this the beginning?
Is this the end?

It's both

"Flight 481 is now boarding at gate 22"

Stranger In Paradise

STRANGER IN PARADISE - Written by Carroll Bryant

Life in the city is hard when you're down
You reach for a helping hand
No help can be found

You pay the price for living
That's just the way that it is
It's all take and not forgiving
Is that the way we should live?

With you I'm able to cope with it all
I see a lot of love within your eyes
A hope
A place of understanding
You make me realize
I'm a stranger in paradise
A stranger in paradise
I'm a stranger in paradise
And baby, that's no lie

So keep me forever in your arms
Don't ever set me free
Love will keep us safe and warm
Just you wait and see

Time will come and time may pass
But this is here and now
Feeding off each others need
It's what love is all about

It's all because of you
Girl, you know this is true
My hope
My chance to surviving
You make me realize
 I'm a stranger in paradise
A stranger in paradise
I'm a stranger in paradise
And baby, that's no lie

No one ever could get to me
Like you have
Holding you, kissing you
Listening to your laugh

The joy of life shines on you and me
So bright and popular is your smile
It's written down for history

I'm gonna drown in your eyes

I'm always a stranger in paradise
I'm a stranger in paradise
A stranger in paradise
And baby, that's no lie

No, baby, that's no lie

I'm a stranger ...... in paradise

The Unserious Ones

THE UNSERIOUS ONES - Written by Carroll Bryant

This is not a world for the unserious ones
This is my world
The united states of confusion
I would wish a president would give me back my freedoms
Give me back my power
Here inside my head

I am but a hostage to my government
Their guns are on my children
For this air, I'm paying rent
I can't believe the sodomy of our politics
Split right down the middle
For this pain, I can't submit

Am I going crazy?
Have I gone too far insane?
Believing all the theories of conspiracies
Playing all of these games

This is not a world for the unserious ones
This is my world
The united states of confusion
I would wish a president would give me back my freedoms
Give me back my power
Here inside my head

Give me back my choices without the compromise or consequence
Build me up with truth this time
Spare me all your lies
Just let me smoke my cigarettes in peace and harmony
Quit telling me I'm the victim of my own insecurities

Am I going crazy?
Have I gone too far insane?
Drowning in the mysteries of our repeated mistakes

This is not a world for the unserious ones
This is my world
The united states of confusion
I would wish a president would give me back my freedoms
Give me back my power
Here inside my head

I can't believe the scene on my television screen
Tell me I'm not seeing this
I just can't believe it
Living in these modern times one would think that maybe
We would have had all of this figured out already

Am I going crazy?
Have I gone too far insane?
Believing all the theories of conspiracies
Playing all of these games

This is not a world for the unserious ones
This is my world
The united states of confusion
I would wish a president would give me back my freedoms
Give me back my power
Here inside my head

Just give me back my freedoms .... without the compromise and consequence

Goodbye's Aren't What They're Supposed To Be

GOODBYE'S AREN'T WHAT THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BE
- Written by Carroll Bryant

Our love was so good
It was going to last forever, girl
You know, I thought that it actually would

But we gave in to give and take
We had made so many mistakes
Our love was so easy to break

Live and learn
That rule sure does apply to us
Now we know
That it takes a little thing called trust

Goodbye's aren't what they're supposed to be
Goodbye's aren't what they're supposed to be

It's hard to hurt the one you love
Maybe you didn't love them enough
But still, it hurts way too much

Leave them laughing when you go
Hide your heart inside your soul
Oh, no, it's just a fancy show

Sometimes
Things are not what they seem to be
And it hurts
When you have to set somebody free

 Goodbye's aren't what they're supposed to be
Goodbye's aren't what they're supposed to be

Live and learn
That rule sure does apply to us
Now we know
That it takes a little thing called trust

The whole thing was a bust!

 Goodbye's aren't what they're supposed to be
Goodbye's aren't what they're supposed to be

Sometimes A Fool

SOMETIMES A FOOL - Written by Carroll Bryant

I found that life can be a scream
I found that hearts only beat in dreams
I found that love will never ever last

I found a story has to end
I found a girl can be a friend
I found that love only lives in the past

And even after all I've learned
I still can't help but getting burned
Sometimes a fool
Always a beginner

I found that money pays the rent
I found a way to save a cent
I found that girls really like to spend it

I found that darkness is not a shame
I found the sun can bring the pain
I found that being lonely never ended

And even after all I've learned
I still can't help but getting burned
Sometimes a fool
Always a winner

I found that crying cleans the soul
I found that coming means you'll go
I found that diamonds were made for always keeping

I found that ghosts still do exist
I found that lovers never really kiss
I found that women were made for sleeping with

And even after all I've learned
I still can't help but getting burned
Sometimes a fool
Always a sinner

Sometimes a fool
Always an idiot

The Second Time Around

THE SECOND TIME AROUND - Written by Carroll Bryant

You tell me that you won't leave, but I know you better than that
If love died, you wouldn't grieve, and baby, that's a matter of fact
Your promises always end up broken
Sex is a token
Words go unspoken
You tell me to trust in you, but I'm more smarter than an alley cat

I can't count on your love
I can't bank on your touch
Maybe you don't realize all that you found
You can't pretend with me anymore the second time around

You tell me that you're sorry, but I see through those beautiful eyes
If tomorrow was forever then you know you would sell me more lies
You're an endangered kind of species
Covered in feces
Nothing goes unpleased
You tell me to watch my mouth, but you're what it's all about

I can't count on your love
I can't bank on your touch
Maybe you don't realize all that you found
You can't pretend with me anymore the second time around

There are no third and final chances for us to try and get it right
Jump on the back of my Harley Davidson and baby I will take you for the ride
Of your life
The way you took me on the first time
The way you're trying again this time
I am onto you and the games you play with my mind

You tell me that you won't leave, but I know you better than that
If love died, you wouldn't grieve, and baby, that's a matter of fact
Your promises always end up broken
Sex is a token
Words go unspoken
You tell me to trust in you, but I'm more smarter than an alley cat

I can't count on your love
I can't bank on your touch
Maybe you don't realize all that you found
You can't pretend with me anymore the second time around

Red Society

RED SOCIETY - Written by Carroll Bryant

How can this be?
I thought that we were living in the land of the free?
Why does my flag get me down?
Why am I so afraid of this town?

Evil eyes are searching for me
I got to hide my thoughts in so THEY won't see
It's so hot outside and yet, I freeze
And still can't believe

How can this be?
A prisoner locked up inside the land of the free
(Just for his thoughts in a diary)
Why does my angry heart yearn to burn the flag?

(In a red society)

How can this be?
Evil eyes are searching for me
Locked up inside the land of liberty
Where the only opportunity is "Hide my thoughts in so THEY can't see"
And they can't read my diary

Thank you for locking him away
Thank you for doing this you communist son of a bitch
Thank you for destroying everything I believed
And everything that so many fought for and died
To be free
They sacrificed and gave their lives  .... and you .....
You come along and piss on their graves
And throw freedom away
You throw it all away

"On Wednesday, July 4th, 2001, on all days for this to happen, I read in the Columbus Dispatch that a mans journal, (a mans thoughts) was ruled obscene. The man in question received ten years in prison for what he wrote inside his journal. A story. Something that was make believe."

VELCOME TO AMERIKA
KNOWN AS THE U.S.S.A.
YOUR PASSPORT, PLEASE

And suddenly, red society

And then he came along and threw freedom away
He threw it all away

"Communism has a new name ........... O'Brienism"

As in Columbus, Ohio - Franklin County prosecutor Ron O'Brien

One Shinning Moment

ONE SHINNING MOMENT - Written by Carroll Bryant

For once in your life you go for it all
Give it some gusto or prepare for the fall
You pick yourself up as you look all around
None of your reasons for quitting can be found

In one shinning moment your heart feels so free
One shinning moment that shines on you and me
You will fly high as your dreams touch the sky
Then one shinning moment suddenly arrives

Unlike a few, I follow my dreams
I travel the road no matter how hard it seems
My time will come and I know in my heart
The end only nears when it all comes apart

But in one shinning moment I will be free
One shinning moment that won't let me be
I will fly high as my dreams touch the sky
Then one shinning moment suddenly arrives

There will be heavy chains weighing you down
Don't let the empty days throw you around
There could be prosperity if only you would try and see
That what you do requires you - to believe

For once in your life you go for it all
Give it some gusto or prepare for the fall
You pick yourself up as you look all around
None of your reasons for quitting can be found

In one shinning moment your heart feels so free
One shinning moment that shines on you and me
You will fly high as your dreams touch the sky
Then one shinning moment suddenly arrives

You can do it if you try

Satan Station

SATAN STATION - Written by Carroll Bryant

"There is so much evil here. Sometimes it's peaceful inside. And the conversation is light as the moon shines so bright, and then fog sweeps in and takes it all away. Takes it all away."

It's midnight and the party is a scream
Call it what you like, a nightmare or a dream
But you cannot admit that soon you will be here too
Lying awake in your grave underneath a full moon

You'll be riding a train all the way
Riding a train to Satan station
You will not escape and your God will be too late
You'll be riding a train to Satan station

All aboard

The fear inside your mind is the only comfort you will find
As the torture here is more than you can withstand
You will only be a fool if you think you have the tool
By walking around with a bible in your hand

You'll be riding a train all the way
Riding a train to Satan station
You will not escape and your God will be too late
You'll be riding a train to Satan station

All the way

You will be a ghost at night running from the light
In the darkness you will creep with just your empty eyes
You will lose all self control as demons rape your soul
Praise Lucifer and all his lifeless lies

You'll be riding a train all the way
Riding a train to Satan station
You will not escape and your God will be too late
You'll be riding a train to Satan station

All aboard

NO COMMENT - Written by Carroll Bryant

Get that microphone away from me
I don't really want to speak
Can't you let your questions be?
For you to know is not a need

Can't you see it in my eyes
That I don't want to talk about it

So who cares if I'm that way?
It's not your business I say
You're on my case both night and day
You're not accomplishing a thing

You know it comes as no surprise
That I don't want to talk about it
Can't you see it in my eyes
That I don't want to talk about it

Look, I got no comment
You make me want to vomit
Stop asking me these questions
Why don't you listen to my suggestion?

And beat it

Your slick tricks will go in vain
Your loose lips need to be slain
Gossip this and gossip games
I just want you to go away

When will you realize
That I don't want to talk about it
Can't you see it in my eyes
That I don't want to talk about it

Look, I got no comment
You make me want to vomit
Stop asking me these questions
Why don't you listen to my suggestion?

And get out of here

Get that microphone away from me
I don't really want to speak
Can't you let your questions be?
For you to know is not a need

Can't you see it in my eyes
That I don't want to talk about it
Can't you even visualize
That I don't want to talk about it

Beat it

Jennifer's Wedding

JENNIFER'S WEDDING - Written by Carroll Bryant

The gown glides across the floor as she slowly walks the aisle
Her heart was beating wilder than it ever did before
It was true within her smile

It was there for all the world to see

And she reflected to the first time
To the first night
The moment in her youth
And through it all the touch of fingers
From paradise
The moment of her truth

Peace was there and present with it was the view
From the sun
Words from God were spoken with the voices of his angels
And again her life begun

It was there because it had to be

And she reflected to the first time
To the first night
The moment in her youth
And through it all the touch of fingers
From paradise
The moment of her truth

It was the moment of it all

And what was so captivating of him for her to so believe?
And where would it go from there, and when would she leave?
And if the question asked of her
Would she swear on the faith of her virginity?
And what was so aggravating of him for her to disbelieve?

It was there for the world to see

And she reflected to the first time
To the first night
The moment in her youth
And through it all the touch of fingers
From paradise
The moment of her truth

And she reflected to the first time
To the first night
The moment in her youth
And through it all the touch of fingers
From paradise
The moment of her truth

It was the moment of her youth
The moment of her truth
The first time
The first night

Jennifer

It was the moment of it all
