Wash Away The Sin

WASH AWAY THE SIN - Written by Carroll Bryant

In society we thirst for pain
Hiding in closets and fearing shame

Certain words are spoken to hide the rule
Where there's ambition, there is a school

There are no names, at least, none that are real
Only desires for fools to feel

The devil appears without regret
He arrives in a black corvette

Wash away the sin
Wash away the sin
We will, we will
Wash away the sin
We will, we will

We watch the crime with childlike eyes
Death makes the scene and it's no surprise

This creepy world needs to take a look
Presidents rewrite the empty pages of our book

Wash away the sin
Wash away the sin
We will, we will
Wash away the sin
We will, we will

Life takes a ride down a lonely road
We consume like a billy-goat
Our paradise is covered by the shade
As we continue our perverted ways

In society we thirst for shame
Hiding in closets and fearing pain

The devil arrives in a black corvette
He appears without regret

Wash away the sin
Wash away the sin
We will, we will
Wash away the sin
We will, we will

Wash away the sin
Wash away the sin
We will, we will
Wash away the sin
We will, we will

Can kill
