Edge Of Eden

EDGE OF EDEN - Written by Carroll Bryant

So you have it just a little bit harder
Than anybody else that you know
Seems like you have to work a little harder
Just to get by
Well I guess you don’t know

You’re walking on a fine line, baby
Living life on the edge of Eden
There’s not too many people out there getting their ride for free
Listen to me

So you think that everything would be better
If you didn’t have to just break even
And life would just stop pushing you around

You just wish you could win a million dollars
Play your numbers on the lottery
Could you really ever be that lucky?
Well you’re not suppose to be
Just leave it in your wildest dreams

You’re walking on a fine line baby
Living life on the edge of Eden
There’s not too many people out there getting their ride for free
Everybody has to find their reason
Pushing them to the edge of Eden
Everybody is just a boat and we’re drifting at sea

So you got it just a little bit harder
Than anybody else that you know
Seems like you have to work a little bit harder
Just to get by
Well, I guess you don’t know

You’re walking on a fine line, baby
Living life on the edge of Eden
There’s not too many people out there getting their ride for free
Everybody has to find their reason
Pushing them to the edge of Eden
Everybody is just a boat and we’re drifting at sea
What will be will just be
Leave it all in your dreams
