River Of Fears

RIVER OF FEARS  - Written by Carroll Bryant

It’s midnight
I’ve got to get out of here
All we do is fight
Cat and dog and tear to tear

We scratch and bite
With the claws that we carry in our hearts
It’s an endless plight
And it keeps on tearing us apart

I drown in your soul
There’s nowhere to go
I thought you would know
Take my hand
Then you let it go

And we ride through the river of fears
Watching the moon
Living in our mood
And we ride through the river of fears
Looking at me
And I am looking at you

It’s midnight
I’ve got to find my way back
There isn’t nothing but time
In my defense of your brutal attack

Your skin so white
Melting inside of my mouth
Turn out the light
And you keep on pushing, pushing me out

I feel the cold blade
Of the words that you won’t say
Can’t stand it this way
Take my hand
Then you break away

And we ride through the river of fears
Watching the moon
Living in our mood
And we ride through the river of fears
Looking at me
And I am looking at you

Don’t run away
I drown in your soul
There’s nowhere to go
I thought you would know
Take my hand
Then you let it go

And we ride through the river of fears
Watching the moon
Living in our mood
And we ride through the river of fears
Looking at me
And I am looking at you

What can I say?
