For just a second and you will see

What I mean for just a moment when

I explain that life is just a puzzle

And when you match up all the pieces

Good versus evil

 

Just open up your heart to all the problems

For love is pain and the mystery is

You can't solve them because they come and go

But in many different shapes and sizes

And when you match up all the pieces

It will say

Good versus evil

 

Good versus evil is the answer to our wars

Good versus evil so what are we fighting for?

Both sides will die

Both sides survive

Good versus evil and it's good to be alive

Evil to wonder why

 

Just realize that all the hope is forgiven

It lays upon an alter and is sacrificed with lies

What you can't see is all the best our blind eyes have given

And its mercy walks away in the form of time

And when you find all the missing pieces

It will say

Good versus evil

 

Good versus evil is the answer to our wars
