HELP ME SEE THE LIGHT - Written by Carroll Bryant
When the midnight falls and the night creatures crawl
I get scared
And all through that time no comfort I find
Just despair
Though the world keeps revolving
I still seek for wisdom
Is it just anthropology of my past?
These emotions inside, how long will they last?
I keep on crying
I keep on trying
Even though I know it's not right
I keep on believing
Anticipating
Could someone please help me tonight?
Help me see the light
When the morning breaks and the day creatures wake
I'm alone
And all through the moment I think of tomorrow
But it's gone
Separation is a struggle
Knowledge of a heartbreak exists
Is it just astrology of my life?
Why do I insist on the pain and the strife?
I keep on crying
I keep on trying
Even though I know it's not right
I keep on believing
Anticipating
Could someone please help me tonight?
Help me see the light
I'm blinded
Wishes are just pennies in a fountain
Somebody else gets rich off the trick
Is there another biological specimen running around also hurting and sick?
I keep on crying
I keep on trying
Even though I know it's not right
I keep on believing
Anticipating
Could someone please help me tonight?
Help me see the light
