Midnight Taboo

MIDNIGHT TABOO - Written by Carroll Bryant

Every minute since we had to depart
I felt the loneliness inside my heart
Some kind of burning from way deep within
I picture raw emotions beneath the skin

Is my mind playing tricks, and joking with me?
Or am I running wild with the wind?
Is there a vision that I can't see?
Or is love just the ultimate sin?

Falling in emotions with you
Color me a midnight taboo
Are you feeling it too?
Cover up the night
Cover up the moon
Color me a midnight taboo

Nobody has ever made me feel this way
Are you in it for the fun and looking to play?
Some kind of signal going off in my brain
Am I completely normal or hopelessly insane?

Could it be my soul is flying too high?
I'm drowning in my own dark desire
Is there a reason for to reach for the sky?
Or is it that I enjoy walking in the fire?

Falling in emotions with you
Color me a midnight taboo
Are you feeling it too?
Cover up the night
Cover up the moon
Color me a midnight taboo

There is something happening
Something I think that both of us could know
The moment is magical
And we know that it shows

Can you see what is to be?
You and me

It's written on the face of our hearts

Ever since we had to depart
I felt the loneliness
It is a loneliness

Falling in emotions with you
Color me a midnight taboo
Are you feeling it too?
Cover up the night
Cover up the moon
Color me a midnight taboo
