Falling Down

FALLING DOWN - Written by Carroll Bryant

I reach for something higher on the holy ground
I quest for wisdom
I seek eternal youth
There isn't knowledge that the mind hasn't found
I summon angels to feed me the bitter truth

In a world so very, very wicked
I custom made a heart that cannot break
I laugh at Gods, spirits and the people
Only to take it back for heaven's sake
(I'm falling)
Down, down, down
All my hopes are falling
Down, down, down
And my heart is calling out for somebody to love
Save me for once with some love
Can't you see I'm falling down?

I have a reason why I'm inclined to fight with fists
I lust the savage
I hunt artistic beasts
There is no danger elusive to my eloquence
It's just a feeling to compensate a hearty feast

In a time so very, very distant
I live a life that kings can only dream about
I challenge life to give me one more meaning
And then I'll have a purpose that of which to talk about
(I'm falling)
Down, down, down
All my hopes are falling
Down, down, down
And my heart is calling out for somebody to love
Save me for once with some love
Can't you see I'm falling
Down, down, down
All my hopes are falling
Down, down, down
And my heart is calling out for somebody to love
Save me for once with some love
Can't you see I'm falling down?

In a way so very, very special
I take a chance for life and hope that it's okay
I challenge love to share with me her secrets
And then to justify everything and everyday
I'm falling
Still falling
I'm falling
Still very much you know I'm falling
Down, down, down
All my hopes are falling
Down, down, down
And my heart is calling out for somebody to love
Save me for once with some love
Can't you see I'm falling down?
