Aldee Eats Rainbows

ALDEE EATS RAINBOWS - Written by Carroll Bryant

She’s a girl who eats rainbows
In the dew of the morning light
She’s a girl who eats rainbows
And drinks her tears up late at night

What is there to understand?
A lonely girl could always use a man
You can touch but you can’t see
What a true heart really means
And it’s what she really needs

Where is there left to go?
A desperate feeling in the deepest soul
You can dream but you can’t breathe
When it’s so far out of reach
And the cut of love won’t bleed

She’s a girl who eats rainbows
In the dew of the morning light
She’s a girl who eats rainbows
And drinks her tears up late at night

When can you find the time?
A sleepy eye can often be so blind
You can learn, but you can’t teach
It’s like you’re covered in sympathy
And it’s full of uncertainty

Who is it that’s in charge
Of all of loves so many broken hearts?
You can whisper inside your screams
Say the words so tenderly
And it’s a force of inanity

She’s a girl who eats rainbows
In the dew of the morning light
She’s a girl who eats rainbows
And drinks her tears up late at night

Aldee eats rainbows
Aldee eats time
Aldee eats rainbows
And drinks her lonely tears at night
