Bobby went to the store today

He saw this girl and he knew right away

That it was love

He fell in love

He walked over and asked for her name

She was shy at first and looked away

But she caught Bobby's smile

And she fell in love

And they walked out of the store together

Hand in hand and determined to last forever

The world looked so much better through Bobby's eyes

Who would have thought it would be as easy as that?

Two people in love who would never look back

Such a happy beginning

Doesn't it make you want to cry?

They got married and she bore him some children

They bought a house and more love was given 

Heart to heart they stood

Together, do or die

And through it all the grass was much greener

The sky was more blue 

And the flowers smelled sweeter

Look what can happen when love comes true

Who would have thought it would be as easy as that?

Two people in love who would never look back

Such a happy little ending

Doesn't it make you want to cry?

Then Bobby's dream was broken from a worry

Someone in line was in such a hurry

It was nice while it lasted 

As he watched her walk away

Do you take that chance in hopes of finding the right one?

Just go through the line and you'll never find anyone

To find your way you just live your life

Never again may your eyes get to meet her

You blew your chance to go up and just greet her
