Just Too Much

JUST TOO MUCH - Written by Carroll Bryant

If there should ever come a time
When I could take your hand in mine
Another world there I would find
Where everything is love

If there could ever be a place
Where every day to see your face
Pain of the heart would be erased
For me, it's just too much

There's nothing more lonely than the thoughts I have of you
Another dream that won't come true

There's nothing more lonely than a vision of the truth
Another love will never do

If there should ever come a day
When words run out of things to say
I would try to find a better place
Where I could feel your tender touch

If there could ever be another song
That could write itself and right my wrongs
My dusty soul would grow to be so strong
For me, it's just too much

There's nothing more lonely than to not to be with you
Another dream gets misconstrued

There's nothing more lonely than a lie that isn't true
Another love I cannot prove

There's nothing more lonely than a sky that isn't blue
Another dream I have to lose

There's nothing more lonely than a never ending tune
Another love left with a bruise

If I should ever find a way
I could find the right words to say
Tell you what you mean to me each day
Those words would be of love

If there could ever be a beating heart
More deserving than what you are
It would rip my whole world apart
For me, it's just too much

There's nothing more lonely than to lose your forgotten mind
Another dream that is so unkind

There's nothing more lonely than to run out of empty time
Another dream that you can never find

There's nothing more lonely than a cloud of disarray
Another love that would never stay

I guess it will always be this way
And for me, it's just too much to take

It's just too much
