Damaged Goods

DAMAGED GOODS - Written By Carroll Bryant

I know you think to yourself that
Maybe you got a keeper
Some one who magically fell into your world
And you think I am a sleeper

You look at me with great potential in your mind
You're crazy if you believe it

I'm not who you think I am
I'm not even close
You're living in a wonderland
Maybe even more than most
I may not be a villian
But I'm no hero in disguise
I'm just a man who is trying to live his life

I know you think I can save you
And maybe to point, I should
I don't know how you can't see it
I'm scattered like damaged goods

You can't see how I linger
You're crazy not to leave me

I'm not who you think I am
I'm not even close
You're living in a wonderland
Maybe even more than most
I may not be a villian
But I'm no hero in disguise
I'm just a man who is trying to live his life

You won't back away
You claim that you're not scared
You turn off all the things I say
Like you don't even care
You're moving past reality
Living in your fantasy

Close your eyes and think about it

You look at me with great potential in your mind
You're crazy if you believe it

I'm not who you think I am
I'm not even close
You're living in a wonderland
Maybe even more than most
I may not be a villian
But I'm no hero in disguise
I'm just a man who is trying to live his life
