My Obituary

MY OBITUARY - Written by Carroll Bryant

This world seems to be preoccupied
With meaningless shit I see and I wonder why
They play make believe then they
Make believe they can fly
It's the same
Who's to blame?
It's just all a stupid game and then you die

I don't think they ever stop to think
Maybe that's why they love to drink
In a stupor they go
And the only thing I know is

I'm waking up to read my obituary
I don't like what people are saying about me
I know it sounds a little arbitrary
I'm waking up to read my obituary

Vodka shots in the back as everything
Is turning black
Watching all the ants do their dance
This time I'm gonna be serious
My communication failed and now
I'm stranded in Hell
And now there's no one around
For me to even talk about it with

I don't know if anybody knows
Where they come or even where they goes
In the future far away
There's only one thing left to say

I'm waking up to read my obituary
I don't like what people are saying about me
I know it sounds a little arbitrary
I'm waking up to read my obituary

A little bit bent and my house
Is up for rent
They want to pay with paper that they use
To wipe their shit
All that's left is what they're worth
Not a one upon this Earth
Has the wherewithal to compromise
Or ever get it right

This is the end of all that ends
If it's not real then it's pretend
Not a chance I can survive
  Everybody look alive

I'm waking up to read my obituary
I don't like what people are saying about me
I know it sounds a little arbitrary
I'm waking up to read my obituary

This world seems to be preoccupied with
Meaningless shit
