DREAMS OF DESTINY - Written by Carroll Bryant
I have spent all of my life living inside of my head
Trying to decide my destination
Running away from my heart and into the land of the dead
It's a wicked world of pure fascination
I appear to be licentious, yet I don't know why
Always suspicious of the look in people's eyes
Had a recent vagary, something was plaguing my soul
I've been instructed of implanation
And nothing could be as scary as to never not to know
The outcome of all life's situations
I appear to be batrachian, living in my own pond
Taking down dictations of a thought that suddenly dawned
Dreams, not reality, is going to be my destiny
Dreams are not what they seem to be, but they appear to be
My destiny
And death is the destiny of man
Maybe I'm a hamal, putting too much weight on myself
When I try to overcome my secret pain
Escaping dark rituals from a past that resembles hell
I'm always talking to voices inside my brain
I would like to be Byronic, but I adopted a style for me
I would like to be caballo, grazing in a pasture and living for free
Dreams, not reality, is going to be my destiny
Dreams are not what they seem to be, but they appear to be
My destiny
And death is the destiny of man
