I Don't Know

I DON'T KNOW - Written by Carroll Bryant

Children crying in the street
Tiny mouths without enough to eat
Dying people without a home
In a world with billions, and so all alone

I don't know
And I don't think I really want to
I don't know, oh no
I don't know
And I don't think I really care to
I don't know, oh no, no, no

The monsters come from whom we elect
They stab our backs and then demand respect
To sell excuses is to tell us more lies
While the boy next door is willing to die

I don't know
And I don't think I really want to
I don't know, oh no
I don't know
And I don't think I really care to
I don't know, oh no, no, no

Play around with nuclear arms
Hide past that grin and Hollywood charms
I thought you cheered for pride of the best?
Only with open eyes to find you're just like all the rest

Children crying in the street
Tiny mouths without enough to eat
Dying people without a home
In a world with billions, and so all alone

I don't know
And I don't think I really want to
I don't know, oh no
I don't know
And I don't think I really care to
I don't know, oh no, no, no
