Where To Begin?

WHERE TO BEGIN - Written by Carroll Bryant

It was just life after death
You were just there and it took my breath
First I saw you and now I can die
With or without my sins
But where to begin?

Wishes are stars in the sky
Love is a dream that shines in your eyes
My time is the time to believe
To lose what I can not win
But where to begin?

Flames that burn forever
As they light the Northern darkness
Turns angels into ashes until they
Fall back down to earth again
I cry a river that still leads into an ocean
With nothing else left but the touch of your skin

But where to begin?

Hearts that beat together
And they search for something more than magic
Love that conquers mountains
Any less than that and we shall not win
I shed the tear that still penetrates molten lava
With nothing else left but remnants of sin

But where to begin?

It was just life after death
You were just there and it took my breath
Now and forever to know that it's true
With or without an end

But where to begin?

And he crys
And he crys
And he crys forever
Waiting for the touch of your skin
To be together
Where on this earth to begin?

Pay no attention to the pain that he feels
There's no redemption for a soul that is lost
And a broken, lonely heart just won't heal
And then
But where to begin?
