Dancer (The Poem)

DANCER (THE POEM) - Written by Carroll Bryant

I have traveled far
I have dreamed so many times
I have lost my perspective
But gained back my peace of mind

Lost in your eyes upon the first time we meet
Can't lose you now because love doesn't come cheap

Dancer
Swiftly you move upon a lovely white cloud
Dancer
Listen real closely, I say I love you out loud
Never mind the heartbeat that skips when I hear your voice
Never mind the dark streets I passed by due to choice
I need you dancer

I still travel far
I still dream all of the time
I'm still without my perspective
I still have my peace of mind

Lost in your grace upon the first time we touch
Can't lose you now because I love you too much

Dancer
Swiftly you move upon a lovely white cloud
Dancer
Listen real closely, I say I love you out loud
Never mind the heartbeat that skips when I hear your voice
Never mind the dark streets I passed by due to choice
I need you dancer
