FROG IN YOUR THROAT - Written by Carroll Bryant
You never talk to me when I talk to you
You never say to me that you love me too
Sometimes I wonder why we're still together
You know what I'm talking about
Why don't you talk to me?
Say something, say anything
Why can't you speak?
Have you a frog in your throat?
Are you choking on your words?
Does the cat got your tongue?
Are you on the run?
You got a frog in your throat
Hallucinations coming over me, but I can't scream
The sound just won't come out when I'm in a dream
No voice, can't yell, what could that mean?
How can I cry for help if I'm muted?
Have I a frog in my throat?
Am I choking on my words?
Does the cat got my tongue?
Now I'm on the run
I got a frog in my throat
Politicians when they sometimes tell a lie
They say uh .... they say um
Or better yet, when they don't say nothing at all
They ought to say goodbye to the dumb
The secrets they keep in the White House
The secrets that would shock the world
Who is the raven? Who is the mouse?
Who has the pretty girl?
When the president comes out to make his speech
There's some things he just won't say
Some things he just won't preach
You never talk to me when I talk to you
Why in the hell won't you speak?
What in the hell are you keeping from me?
Have you a frog in throat?
Are you choking on your words?
Does the cat got your tongue?
The Prez is on the run
He's got a frog in his throat
