They're Digging Your Grave

THEY'RE DIGGING YOUR GRAVE - Written by Carroll Bryant

Some say you're crazy, but they don't understand
You're not some supernatural freak, but a very intelligent man
For if knowing the truth is such a hidden sin that you have to be so banned
Then tell me friend, when will it end?
Will they crucify you like they did to the man?

They're digging your grave, David
They're going to try and put you under
They're digging your grave, David
They're going to try and put you down

Some say you're lazy, but they can't grasp the truth
You're not some Sunday afternoon loafer, just trapped inside your youth
For if wanting to be free is such a hidden hateful law that you have to be disowned
Then tell me friend, are you going to fall?
Or will they push you aside and leave you alone?

They're digging your grave, David
They're going to try and put you under
They're digging your grave, David
They're going to try and put you down

So if you need a hand
I will be around
I will be the one who will never let you down
If you find yourself so lost that you just cannot be found
I will be around
I will always be there

Some say you're crazy, but they don't understand
You're not some supernatural freak, but a very intelligent man
For if knowing the truth is such a hidden sin that you have to be disbarred
Then tell me friend, when will it end?
Will they keep trying to change the person that you are?

They're digging your grave, David
They're going to try and put you under
They're digging your grave, David
They're going to try and put you down
