Slain and beheaded my innocence is gone 

With trembling nerves I pen a new song 

The song is titled 'Nothing' as nothing is all that is left 

The wizards of another dimension captured all of my best 

But my angel says to war, to war against the sin

To penetrate the walls and destroy the bitter end 

For he who does battle for friend against foe

Is one who shall cherish the precious of souls 

The friend is yourself, the soul remains true

You cherish the victorious heart, you cherish yourself too

So prepare for the fight and do so until death 

The scrimmages never cease and nor will the tests 

For each day you live and take a forward step

Is each day you conquer that thing you call "it"

Dare you not bow your head and breathe the air of life

In ponds of dusts for the dead and the blood of unhappy wives 

Your bones still maneuver in ways they only can 

To help in raising the sword to strike demons, ghosts, and man

For all who are of flesh can be made into that of stone 

And all who can sustain from hate will prosper that not of alone

The light does shine through me by way of my Lord 

And my strength comes from the God I believe

And I carry the universe inside of my heart

The universe lives inside of me
