I'M NOT GAY - Written by Carroll Bryant
Welcome to now
Here we are with nowhere to go
Jump in the car
Moving too fast still moving too slow
And so we just take the wheel and pretend we know how to drive
(Where we going?)
Killing the hearts of our souls
Digging our own graves and getting buried alive
In the pain
We look at each other with nothing to say
In the pain
Spreading the rumors around
Trying to buy but not willing to pay for it
Wasting my time on Friday, Saturday, Sunday
But I'm not gay
Spending my nights with no one
Thinking of genocide
I like it that way (But I'm not gay)
Welcome to earth
Here we are with nothing to do
Go for a walk
It's about me and it's about you
(Supreme power)
Take things for granted and it's a point that we never learn
Living in moments
Starting the fires ourselves, getting burned
In the pain
We take from each other in our own careless ways
In the pain
Selling our treasures on E-Bay
Trying to find a seat but not prepared to stand for it
Wasting my time on Friday, Saturday, Sunday
But I'm not gay
Spending my nights with no one
Thinking of genocide
I like it that way (But I'm not gay)
Living in memories that we bring ourselves to throw away
Killing the hearts of our souls
Building our tombs and digging our graves
In the pain
We look at each other in anonymous ways
In the pain
Selling our rumors
Getting embarrassed by it all but never ashamed
Wasting my time on Friday, Saturday, Sunday
But I'm not gay
Spending my nights with no one
Thinking of genocide
I like it that way (But I'm not gay)
