IT'S MURDER - Written by Carroll Bryant
Look into the mans eyes
Listen to what he is saying
Would you believe a purple sky?
Would you just believe?
Maybe time has passed for too long
And words are only spoken in so they may not be heard
If that's the case, it's murder unjustified
And the people are committing suicide
It's murder
Look into the mans eyes and see
Maybe then you will believe
When the time for sure isn't clear
We pretend we don't hear
Would you believe a big black eye?
Or a wicked sneer?
Maybe centuries have come and gone
And minstrels sing the same old song
But they will never be heard
If that's the case, it's murder unjustified
People are committing suicide
They refuse to listen or to understand the beat
It's murder
Look into the mans eyes
Maybe then you will believe
It's the politics of America
The royals get their kicks from stealing your life
They place your freedom on a marionette
And dangle your children as targets
In hopes you will give up the fight
They eat your heart out
If you know the reason for war then tell us
Convince strangers of your convictions
Prove to ghosts that you have vision
If you can't stand to fall down on your own
But listen, there is hope
No, don't roll your eyes at me
If that's the case, it's murder unjustified
People are committing suicide
They refuse to glisten or shine under the siege
It's murder
Look into the mans eyes
Maybe then you will believe
And the words have been spoken for so long
They're no longer heard
It's murder
Look into the mans eyes
Commit a suicide
