Maybe We Both Are Blind

MAYBE WE BOTH ARE BLIND - Written by Carroll Bryant

She don't know how she feels
She won't tell me if her love is for real
She don't know herself
She says she needs some more time

Well, I would probably give her anything that she wants
Especially when it comes to love
But then again I don't know myself
I guess I could use a little more time too

Maybe we both are blind
We can't see pass the light
Only in the darkness of the night do we hide our fears
Maybe we both are blind
We could be running out of time
Only in the darkness of the night do we cry the tears

We don't seem to know what we should do
Maybe we both haven't thought this through
We can't figure it out ourselves
Obviously we need more time

Well, we could dig out of our own holes
Especially if it was to find our own souls
Then again we're still confused
And everything is passing so fast in our minds

Maybe we both are blind
We can't see pass the light
Only in the darkness of the night do we hide our fears
Maybe we both are blind
We could be running out of time
Only in the darkness of the night do we cry the tears

If it turns out we both end up alone
How much would it hurt?
How far could it go?
If it turns out we both die by ourselves
How much worse could it get?
Would our spirits ever forget?

What keeps the fools from ever learning?

She don't know how she feels
She won't tell me if her love is for real
She don't know herself
She says she needs some more time

Well, I would probably give her anything that she wants
Especially when it comes to love
But then again I don't know myself
I guess I could use a little more time too

Maybe we both are blind
We can't see pass the light
Only in the darkness of the night do we hide our fears
Maybe we both are blind
We could be running out of time
Only in the darkness of the night do we cry the tears

Maybe we both are blind
