CRAZY KIND OF NIGHT - Written by Carroll Bryant
Silence speaks in this little town
The midnight moon shines so loud
And sleep can come so easy, but it's hard when you are alone
And everybody here knows everybody here
There isn't that much for anyone to fear
And love can run in circles, but it's hard when you are alone
The sweat that is dripping from all of my pores
Tells me that I'm struggling for something more
And if I go out to the streets
It's hard to say exactly just who I will meet
When I can feel that it's a crazy night
A crazy kind of night
I just got to take my chances and hope to get it right
On this crazy night
Crazy kind of night
The darkness is at peace and the breeze is so cool
Feeling so special like your average fool
And dreams are bound to excite you, but it's hard when you are alone
The way that they play in this little town
Would surely keep most everyone around
To make them think they're something, but it's hard when you are alone
The answers to questions are nowhere in sight
Trying so hard just to see the light
But if I go out to the streets
It's hard to say exactly just who I will meet
When I can feel that it's a crazy night
A crazy kind of night
I just got to take my chances and hope to get it right
On this crazy night
Crazy kind of night
The sweat that is dripping from all of my pores
Leaves a hunger that is begging for more
So I will go out to the streets
Because I really want to see just who I will meet
When I can feel that it's a crazy night
A crazy kind of night
I just got to take my chances and hope to get it right
On this crazy night
Crazy kind of night
So tired of struggling and sick of the fight
It's just a crazy night
A crazy kind of night
