TEARS ON THE MOON - Written by Carroll Bryant
There’s an eclipse in your
eyes
And it’s there I set the mood
There’s no way that you can
see
What is happening to me
Tears on the moon
The stars refuse to shine
That seems to be their
attitude
There’s no way that you can
change
What you easily did break
Tears on the moon
The winds can blow just like
silk
The empty air refined
Flowers on my window sill
Playing with rainbows that
never die
The flimsy trees cannot be
climbed
Wishing wells run out
Leprechauns and their pot of
gold
Are fairy-tales that scream
and shout
There’s a heartbreak in the
sky
Nobody cares, not even you
There’s no way you can
believe
That clouds have feelings too
Tears on the moon
Waters flow like buttermilk
From enchanting streams
Unicorns play with tiny elves
With magnificent dreams
Witches smile with envy winks
Goblins like to grin
Anything is possible
When you let your wishes
become your friends
There’s a sunset at sunrise
And there’s no time left to
be true
What you think is what you
know
It’s in the way I watched you
go
Tears on the moon
The winds can blow just like
silk
The empty air refined
Flowers on my window sill
Playing with rainbows that
never die
There’s an eclipse in your
eyes
And it’s there I set the mood
There’s no way that you can
see
What is happening to me
Tears on the moon
There’s no way you can
believe
What is happening to me
Tears on the moon
