Diana's Dream

DIANA'S DREAM - Written by Carroll Bryant

Diana's got such a fugitive way
To coming out and actually say
What it is she needs
What she needs is me

When she sleeps she says she walks by a stream
That turns into a waterfall dream
She sees what she needs
What she needs is me

A hundred times a night I'm falling in love
I guess my tender heart has yet to get tough
But still I'm hanging on to a thought that is so strong
I know what it is that she needs
I'm living in Diana's dream

Diana claims that love is a fight
That leaves the victim beaten up in the night
But she still believes no matter how hard it seems

And when she thinks about her childhood past
She says the memories go by oh so fast
But she concedes to what it is that she needs
And it's me

A hundred times a night I drown in romance
I get lost inside a song and a dance
And I'm still holding on to a hand that belongs
To a girl who says that I'm what she needs
And I believe in Diana's dream

A hundred times a night we're making the love
I guess this is the legend people keep speaking of
And still I'm hanging on to a feeling that is so strong
I know what it is that she needs
I'm living in Diana's dream

Diana's got such a fugitive way
To coming out and actually say
What it is she needs
What she needs is me
