Jedwin

JEDWIN - Written by Carroll Bryant

I will touch the light
I will fear no dark or sound
I will set things right and win the fight

And Jedwin comes to me from New York city
Preaching to me about something petty
But I can't see what it is he means

So now I know that nothing is in his hands
Or up his sleeves
Born years ago to a wealthy man
Then came to be to preach to me

Jedwin is a crazy man
Healing hearts inside castles made of sand
Touching souls and drinking love
He lives through you and me

Truth be known, I will touch the light
All alone and I fear no dark or sound
Power of stone and I will set things right and win the fight

And Jedwin comes to me from New York city
Preaching to me about something petty
But I can't see what it is he means

There's nothing cool inside his plea
Criminal eyes that keep on taunting me
Teacher of Zen from a long ago time
He blows the mind
He lives through you and me

Jedwin is a crazy man
Died on a cross for the people of the land
Claimed that he could even part the sea
He is a mystery

Truth be known, I will touch the light
All alone and I fear no dark or sound
Power of stone and I will set things right and win the fight

He lives through you and me

Jedwin is a crazy man
Jedwin is so hard to understand
Jedwin is of a dying breed
But came to be just to preach to me

I will touch the light
