Ferris Wheel

FERRIS WHEEL - Written by Carroll Bryant

Young at heart
Young at love
Neither one of us knew exactly what it was
Playing silly games up until there was no end
More than a boy and girl
Much more than friends

How could they try and say that we would never remember
When we will not forget until we close our eyes forever

Ferris wheel
It was so real
Puppy love can never say goodbye
Ferris wheel goes round and
Puppies never touching ground - again
Puppies never cry

Hand in hand
Innocence to innocence
Neither one of us really cared what it was
Just hanging out and doing our time until then
Less was expected
More left behind

Why would they try to fight us and somehow try to deny us
When we will not forget until we close our hearts forever

Ferris wheel
It was so real
Puppy love can never say goodbye
Ferris wheel goes round and
Puppies never touching ground - again
Puppies never cry

Why can't fairy tales come true?
Why can't wishes be the best that we can do?
Why do children have to be less than feeling in society?
It was true - Me and you

It was our love
It was a good love
Our first love
The very best love
Very first love
It was a young love
It was a love

It was our love!

Why would they try and say that we would never remember
When we will not forget and then we close our eyes forever

Be together now and forever
Forever

Ferris wheel
It was so real
Puppy love can never say goodbye
Ferris wheel goes round and
Puppies never touching ground - again
Puppies never cry

Puppies never die
