I don't know why you had to leave so soon

I suppose that God has special plans for you

But your spirit's still living

And the memories you have given 

Willl remain with me forever

And I will never, never let them go

But you're gone now and it shows

Though I see traces of your many funny faces

And maybe you have left us 

But your memory will live on in me 

For as long as I'm alive I will never let you go

Maybe you're gone now but I wanted you to know

You were taken in such a way that no one can explain 

You were a dear and special one and you know you had a name 

I can't deny crying

Can't keep my heart from dying 

And you will never really be gone 

You will continue living in me 

Our spirits will always be 

But you're gone 

So many times I still reach for you to touch your tender skin 

I call out to nothing again and again and again 

And maybe it's still crazy 

And maybe everyone's insane 

And the picture isn't perfect 

We cannot leave ourselves to blame 

And yes, the world keeps spinning

I want to tumble to the ground 

I will miss you forever and more 

To know you're not around in the physical

I feel you in the spiritual 

I need you in the physical

I feel you 

But you're gone ......
