Heavy Mental

HEAVY MENTAL - Written by Carroll Bryant

This world is crazy, make no mistake
Everybody's living to make that one big break
This world is excited, passion falls like rain
It comes and goes and overflows overloading wires to your brain

Taking whatever life will offer
Not the penny, not the dime
The dollar

Heavy mental
Thinking all the time
Heavy mental
Drawing the white line
Heavy mental
Thinking about life
You just want to paint a picture
And that picture to turn out right

It's mental

This world is spinning with nothing to say
Everybody's living to cash in on payday
This world is ignited, green grass grows like shame
It reaps rewards for those with swords, surviving is insane

Taking whatever life will give them
Not a heart, not a soul
Just living

Heavy mental
Thinking all the time
Heavy mental
Drawing the white line
Heavy mental
Thinking about life
You just want to paint a picture
And that picture to turn out right

It's mental

Taking whatever life will give us
Be it hate, be it pain
Be it love

Everything has to be so mental

    1. Yes, I did. Believe it or not, I have 100 poems / lyrics scheduled to be published on this blog between now and the end of August. I have three booklets with about 100 more I am working to get scheduled up to the end of the year, and about 5 to 7 more booklets filled with probably several hundred more.

I have written over 1500 poems / lyrics. Only about 1000 will probably be posted on The Carroll Bryant Collection.

What you are reading now is mostly old stuff. My newest stuff appears at the beginning of the blog, in the first year.
