Tough Teenager

TOUGH TEENAGER - Written by Carroll Bryant

Yeah well you finally made it to the heart of the city
You had to leave that desert town
A lot of big buildings and women look so pretty
You notice as you look around

You made it through school but do you have it made?
The fight is merely starting right now
But you are too cool living in the shade
You're gonna try for the break but don't let it get you down
If you find out you're only one in a million
It's a rough avenue with certain superstitions
You can laugh out loud but there are dreams in a million
You're just a tough teenager with sweet ambitions

Yeah well you got your apartment in the heart of the city
A garbage can without room to spare
An odor of trash seeps through the walls and gets ya
You're wondering why you are there

You made it through school but don't have it made
The fight is hardly finished thus far
You used to feel so cool like ice in lemonade
You're still looking for that break but do you know who you are
When you found out that you're just one in a million
It's a rough avenue with sneaky superstitions
You can laugh out loud but there are dreams in a million
You're just a tough teenager with sweet ambitions

You made it through school but don't have it made
You were always so cool and living in the shade
But now you're the fool just looking for a break
Everything is fake

But you found out that you're just one in a million
It's a rough avenue with certain superstitions
You can laugh out loud but there are dreams in a million
You're just a tough teenager with sweet ambitions

You're just a tough teenager on a real life mission
