A Woman's Heart

A WOMAN'S HEART - Written by Carroll Bryant

And so you say that it's all about the looks * And you believe that it comes down to the money * With your experience you could write a book * Well go ahead if you think you can, honey * I'd like to know how you got to be this angry * Was it something that was done to you * Or something that was said * One look in your eyes and I can tell that you're so hungry * For some attention * But you got it in your head that * No one can love you * No one will want you now * It's no secret * It's not a mystery * Still you sit there * Crying in the dark * Give her some love and affection * And soon you will come to know the treasures * That lives inside a woman's heart *

And so you think that it's all about the wishes * And you believe that it's chances in the wind * With your deliverance of pretty little misses * You carefully plan to do it in the name of sin * I'd like to know how you got to be so lonely * Was it something that was forgotten * Or something you didn't think to bend * One sound of your voice and I can tell that you're trembling * For some attention * But can you understand that * No one can hear you * No one can help you now * It's no secret * It's not a mystery * Still you sit there * Crying in the dark * Give her some love and affection * And soon you will come to know the treasures * That lives inside a woman's heart *

You have to walk the steps that lead up to heaven * You have to give more than you receive * You have to roll the dice and hope for a seven * Or eleven * And then you might just win yourself a chance for victory * Trust in it and maybe you will find it that *  It's no secret * It's not a mystery * Still you sit there * Crying in the dark * Give her some love and affection * And soon you will come to know the treasures * That lives inside a woman's heart *

It's all there * Inside of a woman's heart *
