Fury (A Woman Scorned)

FURY (A WOMAN SCORNED) - Written by Carroll Bryant

Should've seen it coming
Nothing else you could do
Standing in the doorway
Happening right in front of you
So you had to take it out
Point it right in their face
Smoke and fire filled the room
Blood and brains all over the place
So you had to take it out
Stared them straight into the eye
With a smile upon your face
Sentenced them both to die
Should've seen the fury
There's nothing like a woman scorned
Then to read the story
Expect the worse
At best
Be warned
So you had to take it out
The madness filling up in your head
You were determined and had no doubt
Smoke and fire and now they're dead
So you had to take it out
Aimed it straight into the night
You were determined and had no doubt
A woman's fury takes two lives

Should've seen it coming
