Rainbow

RAINBOW - Written by Carroll Bryant

Rainbow, where is my pot of gold?
This man is starting to grow old
Where is my rainbow?

Rainbow, tell me where did you go?
Don’t tell me that you don’t know
I want my rainbow

I lived my life a lonely man
Drifting out and drifting in
Bouncing from girl to girl
Just to find a heart so true

Now the clock is ticking again
Still haven’t found that special friend
Traveled all over the world
Still looking to find her - to find you

Rainbow, where is my pot of gold?
This man is starting to grow old
Where is my rainbow?

Rainbow, tell me where did you go?
Don’t tell me that you don’t know
I want my rainbow

I’m trying hard not to think so much about it
If I deserve love then I don’t want to live without it
Hard times I know will come with the dawn
Can’t wait for the day I find my piece of the sun

I lived my life a lonely man
Drifting out and drifting in
Bouncing from girl to girl
Just to find a heart so true

Now the clock is ticking again
Still haven’t found that special friend
Traveled all over the world
Still looking to find her - to find you

Rainbow, where is my pot of gold?
This man is starting to grow old
Where is my rainbow?

Rainbow, tell me where did you go?
Don’t tell me that you don’t know
I want my rainbow
