Time is an effortless machine that manufactures dreams

Like the touch of a hand or a movies final scene

In love is to believe 

Time travels down a country road at many different speeds 

Halting at will to capture the beauty of the stillness

And through our eyes we take the pictures of love 

Developing the negatives in the dark room that is our minds

And through interpretations they become immortalized 

In our souls

Such is the fate of my love for you

The dawning of a new day

A new world

To behold its majesty with a sigh of breathlessness 

I embrace my love for you as I do embrace the moon over Ohio

As I do embrace the night 

A peaceful parade of stars tells the tale of a lonely sky

That cries in rhythm as rain

That too is my soul as is your heart, my joy

Walk with me in my hand 

And take me to the end of the rainbow that reflects off of

The moon over Ohio

Deliver me from this place of isolation 

Or become my isolator 

And provide me with your dreams of love

As I shall provide mine to you 

Oh, the fun we shall have together as we laugh at the horrid wind

That blows with furry all around us

But not a breeze will you and I feel 

Just a simple love that others make more complicated 

With themselves 

As they cannot make the distinction between the truth and fantasy

When truth and fantasy are both one and the same 

And can remain so in that way forever

We make our peace with Mother Nature's friends 

And keep our love alive with the hope of our everlasting

Drifting above our real 

Like a mist that clings to the empty air underneath the moon
