R U EXPERIENCED? - Written by Carroll Bryant
It was a glorious thing in the forest that day
When the turtle won the race
It was a lesson or two that had to be learned
Leaving rabbit with so much disgrace
Then the robin flew to her nest
Willing to give her best, she asked her husband
R U experienced?
Don't rabbit with me, I'm the turtle you see
Say, R U experienced?
I'm not messing around you filthy worm on the ground
Hey, R U experienced?
Now I'm flying
He was a polar bear without any care
As he finished his eskimo pie
He went for the wife as she ran for her life
Laughing with a tear in her eye
Then he trapped her on an iceberg
Listening to her words, she asked her killer
R U experienced?
Don't igloo with me you Alaskan sized beast
Say, R U experienced?
I'm not messing with you so stop acting so cool
Hey, R U experienced?
Now I'm dying
He was the lead off man with a bat in his hand
As he stepped up to the plate
A tough son of a gun as he belt a home-run
Rounding the bases and feeling great
Then he ran back to the dugout
Hearing all the people shout, they asked their slugger
R U experienced?
Don't strike out on us, you're not as great as you fuss
Say, R U experienced?
We're not messing around you dirty million dollar clown
Hey, R U experienced?
Now you're trying
