In the moments * Of what seems like a tragedy * Things are not what they ought to be * Although we may not understand * Sometimes we can't comprehend * That's the moment we need friends *

Like an angel watching over you * To touch * To learn * A heart that is true * When no one else can see you through * And everybody else will pretend * But not a friend *

In the days * Of what seems like forever * Things in life you discover * Adventures that take a lifetime to do * You need someone close at hand * By your side to be a friend * Like the sun that at times needs the moon * Clearly to be in a mood * Everyone needs a friend like you *

Like an angel watching over the world * Like the beauty on every girl * Watching over you * To teach * To learn * A heart that is true * When no one else can see you through * And everybody else will pretend * But not a friend *

In the moments * Of what seems like a fantasy * Things are not like reality * You want to lose yourself * Your thoughts * Your dreams * Everything seems so far away * That's when you think that everything will end * That's when you need the greatest of friends *
