I Don't Want To Know

I DON'T WANT TO KNOW - Written by Carroll Bryant

You can wipe off that grin
I know where you've been
The angel comes again and leaves me a warning

A nuclear surprise
Brings fire to the skies
I watch with youthful eyes as another day is dawning

Don't tell me what you think
I don't want to know
Don't tell me what you believe
I don't want to know

You can sleep in your tent
I carry no resentment
The angel forces repent and leaves without a warning

A golden globe surprise
Brings teardrops to my eyes
Fire in the skies as another day is dawning

Don't tell me what you think
I don't want to know
Don't tell me what you believe
I don't want to know

There is no reason that can justify all of this killing
There is no useful purpose for to serve with all of this hate
I love the smell of napalm in the morning
Death is probably the only thing governments cannot regulate

It's a tragic tale of life
The man who never had a wife
Was found naked, dead one night
Nobody has a hero anymore

You can wipe off that grin
I know where you've been
The angel comes again and leaves me a warning

A nuclear surprise
Brings fire to the skies
I watch with youthful eyes as another day is dawning

Don't tell me what you think
I don't want to know
Don't tell me what you believe
I don't want to know

Don't tell me what you think
I don't want to know
Don't tell me what you believe
I don't want to know

I don't want to know
I don't want to know
I don't want to know
