I used to hold her in my arms 

Then I lost her

What went wrong?

And now I want to try and get her back

But it's hopeless because I know where she's at 

Somebody else is holding her tonight 

Somebody else is doing the things I used to do

Somebody else is making love to her

Somebody else is saying, "Baby, I love you"

We were trying to build a life 

But it didn't work out

Things didn't go right 

And now I'm trying to change her mind 

But it's useless because at this point and time
