Jibberish

JIBBERISH - Written by Carroll Bryant

Listen to the president
His speech is something that he read
But didn't write himself
He claims it's coming from the heart
Well, it's sure not coming from his head
It's coming from your congressman
Selling it to everyone
Purchased by the F.B.I.
Stolen for the C.I.A.
They're trying to give it away
And now it's coming from the judge
Law enforcement holds a grudge
Baltimore
Ferguson
Messages that are subliminal
That everyone is a criminal
Black

Why you talking jibberish?
Don't want to hear your jibberish
Talking, talking jibberish
Please stop talking jibberish

Teachers in the classroom
Often times they talk too soon
Preachers and prime ministers
Chefs that are cooking up something sinister

Too many times the people you meet
They simply pass you by on the street
And all the shows are a rating game
Lovers who mate under a different name

Why you talking jibberish?
Don't want to hear your jibberish
Talking, talking jibberish
Please stop talking jibberish

Why you talking jibberish?
Don't want to hear your jibberish
Talking, talking jibberish
Please stop talking jibberish

Listen to the president
Then listen to me

Please stop talking jibberish
