Poetic Design

POETIC DESIGN - Written by Carroll Bryant

Here I am
On the eve of my conception
In the web of your deception
Deceased?
I am
With bewildered eyes I find
I am the product of your poetic design

And I've fallen into the same old "How do you do?"
With nothing more to say except I've fallen for you
And I close my eyes again, and picture your skin
On the tip of my tongue and it's love

There you are
In a world of constellations
In the heat of your frustrations
Confused?
I'm sure
With entrapment close behind
You are the product of my poetic design

And you've fallen into the same old "How do you do?"
With nothing more to say except you've fallen for me too
And you close your eyes again and become your only friend
On the edge of a touch and it's love

With a dream to underline
We are the product of our poetic design

And we've fallen into the same old "What do we do?"
With nothing more to say and even less for us to prove
And the mountains we move
And the way that we groove
Is the song in our hearts and it's love

With the passing of the time
We find the prophecy of poetic design

And the legend left behind
Is the heart of loves poetic design
