The Letter

THE LETTER - Written by Carroll Bryant

A feeling tonight came all over me

While I was thinking of you

I asked myself, "Hey, what can it be? And what am I gonna do?"

I had to do something to make me feel better

So I just thought I would write you this letter

I guess we are friends, but could there be something more?

I don't know, but one thing's for sure

Every moment we're apart 

Is every moment of a broken heart

Everyday that you're on my mind

Is everyday such a lonely time

Can't you see that we should be together?

Take my hand and let's sail forever

I guess I'm hoping everything will get better

When I tell you tonight that I love you

In this letter

What would happen if you laughed at me? And what would I do?

Could I handle all of that pain?

So maybe I won't even sign my name 

But I have to do something to make me feel better

So here it is from me, to you, this letter
