Dead Art Museum

DEAD ART MUSEUM - Written by Carroll Bryant

There is something in the air tonight
Memories are filling my mind
First I feel ill and then I'm feeling all right
After I wipe the tears from my eyes

The wind blows gently but it feels so cold
I play with the thoughts I hold so tight
I see the girl with a heart of stone
She hurts me for the last time

Love was alive when we were together
To have it end, I thought never
Since that time I always think about her
She touched my soul and love was alive

There was no sin when we were skin to skin
But now my heart is in the dead art museum
Tossed aside by a love that was evil to me

People and places remind me of you
Shadows form before my eyes
I'm tickled pink to the point of feeling blue
I take a breath and heavily sigh

The wind blows gently but still gives me the chills
To pretend you just eats at my heart
You took a shot at me that was meant to kill
You hated me right from the start

There was no sin when we were skin to skin
But now my heart is in the dead art museum
Tossed aside by a love that was evil to me

I thought that you were a lover and a friend
Now my heart is in the dead art museum
Tossed aside by a love that grew angry at me

Let the fires burn this shit down
Until all that's left is ash
I hope the insurance is all paid up
Damn this shit is kicking my fucking ass

You're worse than a genital rash

There was no sin when we were skin to skin
But now my heart is in the dead art museum
Tossed aside by a love that was evil to me

I thought that you were a lover and a friend
Now my heart is in the dead art museum
Tossed aside by a love that grew angry at me
