Young Blood

YOUNG BLOOD - Written by Carroll Bryant

A calculated risk can sometimes be obtuse
There's just too much to understand
You have to just break loose

You live within a system that you're programmed to obey
No one cares to listen or to help
You're tied up
Can't walk away
And preachers find a way to go to college
And the money may buy them all kinds of knowledge
Do they confuse decisions with callings?
The only one who can decide is ......

Young blood
There's a better reason
Young blood
There's a better plan
Young blood
Watch out for the treason
Young blood
Growing into a man

You cannot give an inch because they will take a mile
You work so hard like a superstar
Amuse them with your smile

You live within the modern rules and always remain cool
They're still watching you and all you do
A systematic fool
And teachers discover that nothing's funny
And the principle still ain't worth the money
And politics shakes up the economy
The only thing that matters now is ....

Young blood
There's a better reason
Young blood
There's a better plan
Young blood
Watch out for the treason
Young blood
Growing into a man

There's something stirring in your soul
In a matter of time, you will come to know
You can't help the active cautious mind
You can't help to ignore common time

Be patient
Such self concern
It's the bad in life that will help you to learn
Just who you are
And where you want to be
Superstar
Just set your spirit free

And preachers find a way to go to college
And the money may buy them all kinds of knowledge
Do they confuse decisions with callings?
The only one who can decide is ......

Young blood
There's a better reason
Young blood
There's a better plan
Young blood
Watch out for the treason
Young blood
Growing into a man

Young blood
Watching for the seasons
Young blood
Trying to make a stand
Young blood
Watch out for the treason
Young blood
Growing into a man
