Unsatisfied World

UNSATISFIED WORLD - Written by Carroll Bryant

So many things seem to be for nothing
Like the love of a heart that goes up in flames

So insecure and then we're reaching out for something
All the while, black horses are cursing your name

We got everything that we could ever want
But most of us just simply can't afford it
We'll watch anything that really gets us off
Knowing the truth that most of us adore it

It's just a part of the never ending story
One for man to give to the pretty girl
There's only one who is worthy of the glory
But we know that we're living in it, yeah
An unsatisfied world

So many goons try their luck at philandering
Talk, talk, talk, and then they do nothing about it

So many others take up the art of demanding
All the while, everybody else will continually doubt it

We invent everything that we think we will ever need
Knowing good and well that most of us can't afford it

We watch the dollar play the part of the whore for us
Much too often, the rest of us adore it

It's just a part of the never ending story
One for man to give to the pretty girl
There's only one who is worthy of the glory
But we know that we're living in it, yeah
An unsatisfied world

We keep on building everything that we think we want
Knowing all too well that most of us can't afford it

We video everything we think that will get us off
And worst of all is most of us still adore it

The money only makes us whores

It's just a part of the never ending story
One for man to give to the pretty girl
There's only one who is worthy of the glory
But we know that we're living in it, yeah
An unsatisfied world

An unsatisfied world
An unsatisfied world

The money keeps making us its whore
