Salem

SALEM - Written by Carroll Bryant

Riding on the sea of love
The mighty waves crash against my hope
But my ship is much too strong
I shall prevail

The waters run miles so deep
But a captain taught me a lesson I will keep
It doesn't matter if you're right or wrong
Never let down your sail

Salem is my name and I ride the mighty waves
On an ocean that is so wild I hide no shame
Love is my conquest and I do my very best
To live with happiness and forget about all my pain

I dock my vessel from port to port
I never give in to a bad resort
My will is much too strong
I shall prevail

I search for love from day to day
But a captain taught me a lesson and I will say
It doesn't matter if I'm right or wrong
I'll never let down my sail

Salem is my name and I ride the mighty waves
On an ocean that is so wild I hide no shame
Love is my conquest and I do my very best
To live with happiness and forget about all my pain

Fishing in the dark can get so motley and cushy
Curvaceous is so dangerous if the desire is too pushy

I need to write a humoresque about about a love that I can feel
And take away the cautiousness for a love that's strong and real

I can feel

Salem is my name and I ride the mighty waves
On an ocean that is so wild I hide no shame
Love is my conquest and I do my very best
To live with happiness and forget about all my pain
