Own

OWN - Written by Carroll Bryant

She is just a name and a number
A text that I can't read
A spell that I'm under

I crawl on my knees and pray to a deity
That I don't believe in
In hopes I can have her
I want to own her

I want her to own me

I want to own everything
Anything I can give her
I'm alone and always gone if I can't have her
I don't deserve her
I don't own a thing

She is just a game and a cool reminder
Turn my back, turn my head away for a minute
I can't find her

I bawl out my eyes to my dignity
Until I can't even see two feet or fifty
Right in front of me
This is infinity

I want to hold her

I want to hold everything
Anything that will keep her
I'm alone and always gone if I can't feel her
I don't demand her
I can't hold a thing

I crawl on my knees and pray to a deity
That I don't believe in
In hopes I can have her
I want to own her

I want her to own me

I want to own everything
Anything I can give her
I'm alone and always gone if I can't have her
I don't deserve her
I don't own a thing

She is just a name and a number
A text that I can't read
A spell that I'm under

I'm fading away
