Have you ever wondered

Have you ever thought 

You're not really who you are

Like an animal, you're caught

Trapped inside a vision

Living in somebody's mind

In the middle of somebody sleeping

And running out of time

Knowing when they wake up

You might yourself be dead

Or searching for an exit

Trying to escape from somebody's head

In the eye of someone's nightmare 

You try to scream but can't

You want to run into the sun 

But your feet are stuck in quicksand

You are itself the fantasy 

When you can't control the things you do

You never know but you could be

And so if it's true

I got to get out of you

I couldn't stand to be

The centerpiece of some little boy's dream

I figure that I am screwed
